It prohibits not only the worship of anyone except AIIah but also implies that one should obey and serve and submit to AIIah alone without question: one should accept His Commandments and Law alone to be worthy of obedience and His authority to be supreme above aII

فَلا تَقُلْ لَهُمَا أُفٍّ وَلا تَنْهَرْهُمَا

English - Sahih International : And your Lord has decreed that you not worship except Him and to parents good treatment Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you say not to them [so much as] "uff" and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word• Indonesia - Bahasa Indonesia : Dan Tuhanmu telah memerintahkan supaya kamu jangan menyembah selain Dia dan hendaklah kamu berbuat baik pada ibu bapakmu dengan sebaikbaiknya Jika salah seorang di antara keduanya atau keduaduanya sampai berumur lanjut dalam pemeliharaanmu maka sekalikali janganlah kamu mengatakan kepada keduanya perkataan "ah" dan janganlah kamu membentak mereka dan ucapkanlah kepada mereka perkataan yang mulia• 's thereof of Chapter VI.
